HISTORY

 Institute of Information Technology and Management (IITM) was set up in 1999 under the aegis of Mata Leelawati Shikshan Sansthan (MLSS), a registered education society engaged in philanthropic activities, with the Late Shri T.N. Chaturvedi, the well-known educationist, parliamentarian, ex-Governor of Karnataka and CAG of India, and Padma Vibhushan Awardee, is the founder and President of both the society and the Institute.

All the professors at IITM are highly educated, experienced as well as adept. INFRASTRUCTURE & LOCATION

The institute provides a tranquil milieu with centrally air-conditioned, spacious, well-ventilated lecture theatres, seminar rooms, and syndicate rooms.

Seminar and Syndicate Room

 The Institute has centrally air-conditioned seminar and syndicate rooms equipped with LCD projectors, Smart Boards, and multimedia systems. These rooms are used regularly for student seminars, group presentations, project discussions, and guest lectures.

Auditorium

The state-of-the-art centrally air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 240 persons is equipped with an LCD projector, a large LCD screen, and a modern Public Announcement System. The auditorium is used to conduct various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities including conferences, seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs.

Dhyan Kaksha/Meditation Room

Yoga and Stress Management workshops are organized in Dhyan Kaksha. These workshops are conducted with the mission of inculcating the art of self-management.

Sports

The institute owns a well-equipped sports center that provides an opportunity for students for pursuing their interests in various sports activities. It functions to encourage students to participate in indoor and outdoor sports activities. This helps in developing their physical abilities, willpower, and self-discipline.
