Freshers Welcome & Orientation

Sr. Students welcome Freshers in IITM’s unique tradition

Sr. Students including University Rank holders welcomed their Fresher brethrens to the IITM campus on Aug. 3, 2015. Narrating the ultra modern facilities available at the campus, they apprised the freshers of IITM’s distinctive salient features like intellectually vibrant environment, Mentor-Mentee relationship, Student Centric Approach & other Students Support systems including the “Elite Club” which imparts additional inputs to the advanced learners. The Sr. Students also welcomed the accompanying parents. It was a function “Of the students, For the students and By the students”.

The Chairman & the Director blessed the Freshers inspiring them to work hard to keep up the IITM tradition of 100% Results & excellent Placements.

DUCAT Competition

An Inter college competition between IITM and IINTM was held on “Advanced Java projects” on 10th August, 2015 in IITM Auditorium. The live projects were developed during DUCAT Summer Training Period (from 15th June to 31st July,2015).The aim of this competition was to enhance the presentation skills and give knowledge on various Advanced Java projects and their applications. A total of 20 Teams (10 Teams from IITM and 10 Teams from IINTM) were selected by the DUCAT Team where each team consisted of 2 students. Participants were judged on different parameters like the purpose of projects, presentation skills & knowledge. Three winners were selected and from IINTM where Kushagra Dhingra and Kanishk Khanna got the third position. Students enjoyed the competition and gave their best. The Faculty Co-ordinators from IINTM were Ms. Harsh Arora, Ms. Kalpana Jha and Mr. Ankit verma.
