Just like always this year too, we Marketing Maestro Club – the marketing society of Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management organized the most awaited event of the year, the Diwali fest – “DIL-WALI-DIWALI” on 15th October 2023.
The event was concluded to be a grand success with a huge number of audience dancing and pouring their hearts out by the day ended. With ladies and gentlemen dressed in colourful ethnic outfits, the aura of the environment created a positive and festive mood.
The day was constituted of various fun elements which were enjoyed by the students, as well as the teachers. Following is the outline of the day:
1. Dazzling Decor:
As attendees stepped into the venue, they were greeted with a sensory explosion of vibrant colors and intricate designs. The venue was adorned with traditional Diwali decorations such as diyas, rangoli, and floral arrangements. The decor not only captured the essence of Diwali but also provided the perfect backdrop for photo opportunities.
2. Cultural Performances:
The festival celebrated the diversity of Diwali by featuring a variety of cultural performances. Attendees were treated to mesmerizing energetic folk dances and soulful musical renditions that spanned the spectrum of Indian culture. These performances not only entertained but also educated the audience about the rich heritage associated with Diwali.
3. Gastronomic Delights:
One of the highlights of the festival was the food court offering an array of traditional Indian dishes. From savory chaats to mouthwatering sweets like jalebi and gulab jamun, the food court was a culinary journey that delighted the taste buds of attendees. The food court also served as a gathering place for people to indulge in conversations and create lasting memories.
4. Creative Workshops:
The Diwali Festival Extravaganza went beyond entertainment and engaged attendees in creative workshops. Participants had the chance to learn traditional art forms like making rangoli, crafting diyas, and designing intricate henna patterns.
